The AnglomOil Valiant Pacer of Cameron Tilley has started proceedings at the Darwin round of the Touring Car Masters Championship by putting in an 8th fastest time in practice.
This puts Cameron halfway through the 16 car field.
He put in 11 laps to settle in the car and his best lap time was a 1 minute 15.5 seconds.
Just 0.4 of a second in front is a Trans Am Mustang.
And only three seconds beyond that is the fastest lap recorded so far.
The AnglomOil Pacer will be in qualifying mode this afternoon then have 4 races over the weekend.
It leads the Pro Am class and is 3rd outright in the championship.
