Sydney racing driver Terry Lawlor has dominated the major historic racing event at America’s famous Laguna Seca Raceway.
Terry shipped his Mustang Shelby GT over to the USA to take on a massive field of Corvettes, Camaros and other classic muscle cars.
During qualifying he was the quickest of all of the Mustangs finishing fourth best. Ahead of him were 3 Corvettes.
On race day Terry kept up with the GM trio and was again the first Mustang across the finish line. This was an outstanding result given the fact that he hadn’t been on the circuit for over a year.
The Shelby was built by Brad Tilley who also maintains it. Brad uses AnglomOil Lubricants in his customer cars as well as his own Touring Car Masters Falcon GTHO and the Mustang fastback that his son Jamie competes in.
Terry also owns the ex-Dick Johnson Ford Sierra which he races in the Heritage Touring Cars Championship.
