The road is thorny

When the going gets tough come the Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge. This is the worst thing on the road. 4X4 vehicles and their components are pushed to their absolute limits over three days through 12 courses filled with rocks, mud, deep holes, ruts and near vertical cliffs.
The team that has consistently set the pace each year at the Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge is driver duo Shane Bakes and Timothy Scutt in their Anglomoil Jeep TJ Wrangler. This high-capacity off-road vehicle features large tires, a full roll cage, roll-over suspension, rear steering, and disconnected front and rear differentials mated to a TH400 automatic transmission.
Bakes and Scutt rely on Anglomoil Lubricants to keep their Jeeps running in harsh conditions such as: high operating temperatures, high engine rpm, dust, mud, dirt and water. They started competing in 2009 and won the King Of The Park award.
“Just having the car is enough and ready to handle anything,” says Shane.
