ABA Fone Excavating and Earthmoving began using Anglomoil diesel engine oils and hydraulic oils almost 25 years ago and has remained loyal to the brand ever since.

Owner Barry Hughes says he did try other products but he experienced problems with them. He was not willing to take any risks with a huge investment which includes Volvo and Komatsu excavators, Caterpillar bulldozers, loaders, a roller and grader-scraper.

“With Anglomoil products there’s no problem in achieving a lifespan up to 30,000 hours with our machinery – which is the equivalent of 25-30 years of non stop usage.”

Barry says they change the oil every 250 hours which is OEM standard practice and there are four oil changes a year.

ABA Fone Excavating and Earthmoving equipment is used for civil projects such as roads and dams as well as a wide variety of other jobs across Sydney and New South Wales country areas. The equipment is commonly hired out to contracted operators who “use and abuse” it, meaning that the lubricants have to work even harder to maintain the efficiency of the machinery. And, after all these years, Anglomoil hasn’t let them down once.
